Here's for the first post....

So for my very first post (I know its not a craft) but I'm going to put different recipes and fun things on this also. Lol... I'm really not sure why this is underlined. So here is a recipe that I actually made for the first time last night. It was so Yummy that I thought I would share it with everyone.

PEPPERED STEAK
2 pounds round steak
3 large red or green peppers
2 large onions, halved and cut into 1/2-inch slices
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup light soy sauce
2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon sugar
1 can (8 ounces) bamboo shoots, drained
3 cups cooked white rice (prepared from 1 cup raw)

1.) Cut the meat against the grain into strips. You can cut this however size that you want.

2.) Cut the peppers, Onions, and add the garlic (make sure you chop the garlic)

3.) Whisk together the beef broth, Soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, cornstarch, sugar
4.) On medium high, mix together the steak, peppers, onions, and garlic in a wok. When meat looks cooked add the beef broth mixture and turn down heat to medium. Cook for about 5 to 10 minutes or until mixture starts to thicken up.
5.) Next add the bamboo. Turn heat down and stir often.
6.) While that is cooking, this is when your going to want to cook the rice. This is your choice of what kind you like. Tony and I normally get the brown rice steamers in the frozen food section. Last night I didn't have any so I had to do with the 5 minute white rice.
7.) Once the rice is done you are ready to eat. You can add fruit or anything else that you want to go with this meal. Its super simple but super delicious. Hope you enjoy!!!
